JESUS ALONE CAN SAVE!
So what you are saying is we are a people without hope? Ah friend no! God sent His Son, they called Him Jesus, He came to love, heal and forgive! He lived and died to buy YOUR pardon! An empty grave is there to prove my Saviour lives!
God tells us in His word in John 14:6 that there is only one way to the Father in Heaven, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me”
We are also told that “Christ . . . hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18). We are told in John 3:16 that “God so loved the world, that He gave
His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in Him should not perish, but
have everlasting life”. That whosover includes YOU!
TRUST JESUS NOW!
Jesus came to earth, He suffered on the cross for your sins and rose again that you might have peace with God. What then does God want you to do? Well we don't need to guess, God tells us in Isaiah 55:6 “Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near” and in 2 Corinthians 6:2 we also read “....Behold now is the accepted time, Behold, now is the day of salvation”
Perhaps you might say I want a little more time to get a better house, car or whatever it may be. God tells us the worthlessness of material things in light of a person's soul. “What shall it profit a man, if he shall
gain the whole world, and lose his own
soul?” (Mark 8:36).
Whats keeping you back from having your sin forgiven?
Why don't you repent now, accept you are a sinner and take sides with God against your sin? “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).
DON'T LEAVE IT TOO LATE!
Remember that God said we will all one day cease to exist and will give an account of what we have done with His Son!
God tells us in Genesis 6:3 "My Spirit shall not always strive with man". YOUR time is running out! As you read this you may be getting your last ever opportunity to get right with God. The Bible tells us “Every one of us shall give account of himself to God” (Romans 14:12). If you meet God without YOUR sin forgiven there is no hope for eternity.
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and
thou shalt be saved, and thy house” (Acts
Confess Jesus as Your Lord:
“If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).
“Choose you this day whom ye will
serve” (Joshua 24:15). You might be making the decision for the last time.
YOU CAN'T SAVE YOURSELF!
So how can I be saved you might ask? You say you are a good person and your not that bad! Sadly this isn't true and we can't even keep our own standards never mind God's! How many New Years resolutions have you failed to keep, promises made and broken? God's word tells us in Titus 3:5 that salvation is “Not by works of righteousness which
we have done, but according to His mercy
He saved us” Who's mercy? The Lord Jesus Christ's mercy on the cross!
God also says that salvation is not obtained by works of the Law “By the works of the law shall no flesh be justified” (Galatians 2:16). Friend salvation is not found in going to church, obeying the law, paying money or even saying prayers! Salvation is found in the Lord Jesus Christ!
YOU NEED TO BE SAVED!
Now we have seen that Jesus said salvation was a necessity so lets ask the question, why?
God says to us from His word in Romans 3:23 that “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” in Ecclesciastes 7:20 it also tells us “There is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not”. And as already quoted in John 3:3 there is no hope of Heaven without Christ.
If you want to be in heaven when you die you need to be saved.
ARE YOU SAVED?
Friend this is the greatest question that you could ever ask yourself. Jesus said in John 3:3 that "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God". Again in the same passage in John 3:7 Jesus states the necessity, "Ye MUST BE born again". So, are YOU saved?
All of us one day will cease to exist and God tells us in The Bible that "It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgement" (Hebrews 9:27).
Are YOU ready to meet God? Are YOU saved?
